Heading out for a couple days doing rifle and shotgun delivery, and a customer has invited me out for a hunt (not the first to do so, but definitely the most accessible so the first I've been able to take someone up on the offer). I'm trying to get my kit a bit more streamlined and I'm taking less and less gear into the field every time. Given I'm going to be logging another easy thousand kilometres over the next 36 hours, I thought I'd better check the first aid / trauma kit in the ute and stock up on some extra bits and pieces from @pracmed_nz to make sure I'm as prepared on the road as I am in the hills. Sure, I'm not planning on being in an accident (no one ever does), but the chances of me coming across a serious crash aren't exactly that low in this weather and on our windey back roads. Stay safe out there people, be prepared!
